And on the third try, Vishan created folders. And it was very good for organizing things. And he was much pleased and ordered thai ice tea for all.

As I became more aware of download times I went from many backgrounds to one and a separate layout for the art gallery. I also started organizing things more. Not only did I use the subdirectories, but I started naming files with an eye for organizing them. Poems were named by catergory and a sequential number; essays by catergory and title. I stopped playing with the status bar and used ALTs and different icons to show how new things were. No more censorship icons. Damn. Whose stupid idea was that?

Oh... *cough*

Sections:

  • Index of the King
  • Royal Self - paragraphs? fact sheet? list of random facts? Make up your mind, 'King!
  • Royal Jester - (sub) it had funny pictures for a few months. Then I accidentally deleted them. :p
  • Royal Opinions - (sub)
  • Color World - (sub)
  • Credits - after reading Give Credit, I switched the credits page to a paragraph on "Index of the King" and also gave credit at the bottom of every page.
  • Royal Writing Corner - dropped the quotes as a waste of time.
    • Poetry - (sub) added catergory lovey-dovey since I was writing more love poems.
    • Essay - (sub)
    • Short Story - (sub)
  • Royal Art -
    • Layout: a plain black background and border=2 tables. The table on the index page displayed the latest additions with a description. 100x100 thumbnails were made in Microsoft Paint.
    • Catergories by subject: dragon, faerie, griffin, misc, and a page listing what media I used.
    • The description and media are placed next to the thumbnails on the index pages with links to the picture files.

The text was placed in a table for your eyeball-ing ease. Originally, it all ran free like rabid cantaloupe. I've also used a transparent gif to make the border behave. Smearing chocolate on the computer only made it brown. Well, I thought it was a good bribe. ;)
